William Poburka was born on a US base in the Northern Territories of Australia and moved to Colorado when he was very young. For much of his life, Colorado Springs has been his home. From a young age, volunteer work and work as a missionary played an enormous role in Will’s life. At age 13, he took a trip to Heidelberg, Germany through a group called GEM (Greater Europe Missions) for the purpose of teaching English to the locals as a second language. After that, the love stuck, continuing to this day and currently 12 missions and counting.
Ranging from in-town to across the world, service has been his mentality. It was no surprise that when uncertainties arose on a major, the planning, hard work and commitment built through missions led him through his tracks of construction laborer, detail finished and ultimately planner. While that work was enjoyed, it was never a long-term ideal. The next logical step was, shockingly, real estate. William’s father had worked real estate for a large amount of his life, had received numerous accolades and had skills that proved that there was no better teacher to learn under.
Through the dedication of his previous work and rigorousness of his previous classes, William had no trouble in his real estate courses. Though his career might have changed, his goal remains the same: Help people and serve those around you. In the coming years, William hopes to serve as many as possible and keep his life in the correct direction.
