Moving later in life often comes with unique considerations — from financial planning to emotional transitions. Our team understands these nuances and provides compassionate, knowledgeable support tailored to each client’s situation.
Many of our agents hold the Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) designation, meaning they are specially trained to assist clients aged 50+ through the buying or selling process.
We understand that these moves often involve both practical and personal considerations, and we approach each transition with patience and care.
We take the time to understand your goals, timeline, and comfort level so we can provide a thoughtful, patient approach every step of the way.
Our priority is ensuring you feel supported, informed, and confident in your decisions.
As a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®), Kim understands that later-in-life moves are about much more than just buying or selling a home. Whether helping longtime homeowners downsize, transition to assisted living, relocate closer to family, or find the perfect retirement home, she approaches every situation with patience, compassion, and a clear plan.
Kim is committed to making the process feel manageable and supportive from start to finish. She provides thoughtful guidance on downsizing and decluttering, connects clients with trusted local resources, and helps simplify the many moving pieces that can otherwise feel overwhelming for seniors and their families.
With a calm, step-by-step approach and a deep understanding of the emotional and logistical challenges that often accompany these transitions, Kim helps clients move forward with confidence and peace of mind.
Being a Seniors Real Estate Specialist® (SRES®) is much more than simply having a designation. One of the biggest things the training taught me was the importance of truly understanding each senior as an individual — how they are most comfortable communicating, what matters most to them, and how important it is for me to slow down, listen carefully, and meet them where they are.
For some clients, that means sitting down and visiting for an hour before we ever talk about real estate. For others, it means handling everything in person rather than online because that feels more comfortable and personal to them. I have learned that no two people navigate these transitions the same way, and part of my role is making sure the process feels respectful, supportive, and manageable for both the individual and their family.
Sometimes these transitions happen because a longtime home has become too much to maintain, stairs are no longer practical, or there is a need to be closer to family or medical care. These decisions are rarely easy, especially when a home holds decades of memories and meaning.
In many situations, I work not only with my client, but also alongside their children or family members, while always making sure my client’s voice, wishes, and dignity remain at the center of every decision.
I have also had several experiences where seniors asked me to help them decide whether selling their home was truly the right choice. More than once, after working through the situation together, we realized it was actually best for them to stay where they were. To this day, I still receive phone calls and cards thanking me for helping them make the decision that was right for them — not just the transaction.
I feel like my SRES® training has been invaluable in helping me become a trusted advisor for people who can sometimes feel overlooked, unheard, or left out of important decisions about their own lives.

Senior Real Estate Specialist
Real estate isn't just about property; it's about the profound life changes that happen within those walls. For the aging population, those changes carry even greater weight — downsizing a family home, transitioning to a more accessible space, or making a move that supports the next chapter of life. As a Senior Real Estate Specialist and a top 10% agent in the Colorado Springs area, my mission is to guide you through that journey with expertise, empathy, and a deeply personal understanding of what this stage of life truly demands.
What sets me apart is a perspective you won't find in most agents. With 30+ years in the fitness industry and over 15 years specializing in senior fitness, I understand the physical realities my clients are navigating — mobility, accessibility, post-surgery recovery, and proximity to medical care. These aren't abstract considerations to me. Having personally experienced multiple surgeries and recoveries, I have lived the process of adapting to a changing body, which makes me a uniquely empathetic advocate for clients making housing decisions shaped by those same realities.
My philosophy, "Changing Lives One Home At A Time," reflects the same discipline and commitment I brought to coaching fitness clients through major milestones — with a plan, resilience, and a coach who listens. Add to that my family roots in the industry and 10 years as a loan processor, and you have an advocate who understands every layer of your transaction, protecting your goals from start to finish.
Whether you are buying, selling, or rightsizing in Colorado Springs, your story is my priority.
